Officers in Stroud are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man was threatened last week.
Police were called with a report that a man had been threatened by another man while on West End in Minchinhampton at around 2.30pm last Thursday (12 January).
It was reported that the victim was walking down the road, near to the chemist, when the man approached him and made threats to assault him.
The victim was not physically injured but shaken by what happened.
The offender was described as being a white man who was around 5ft 4ins tall, of a slim build and had a short blonde beard. He was wearing a black baseball cap and a green North Face tracksuit.
Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident taking place or who may have dashcam/CCTV footage from the area.
