Warrants of further detention have been granted for three people arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man in Coleford, Forest of Dean.
At Cheltenham Magistrates' Court earlier today, Thursday 15 June, a District Judge authorised an additional 36 hours of detention. This will expire in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Two men and a woman remain in police custody for questioning.
Two other men who had also been arrested have since been released from police custody and will face no further action.
Emergency services had been called to Oakfields at around 12.30am yesterday (Wednesday 14 June) following a report of a stabbing.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man who had suffered stab wounds was later discharged from hospital.
Officers from the Major Crime Investigation Team are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the murder and anyone with information which could assist is asked to contact police.

Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Coleford, Forest of Dean overnight, Wednesday 14 June.
Emergency services were called to Oakfields at around 12.30am with a report of a stabbing.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Another man suffered stab wounds and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment.
Four men and one woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They remain in police custody. It is believed that all involved were known to each other.
There will be a heightened police presence in Coleford over the coming days. Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting reassurance patrols and will be available to speak to anybody if they have any concerns.
The Major Crime Investigation Team is in the early stages of an investigation and officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
