Man commits lewd act in Hartpury

Police are investigating a report that a man in his late-20s was seen committing a lewd act, close to Hartpury College, yesterday afternoon (Thursday 18 March).

A woman had been walking near to Hartpury Church at around 5.30pm when a man in a silver 4x4 style car has pulled over and asked for directions.

When the woman has approached the vehicle, the man had exposed himself and was described as touching himself.

The male is described as being white, aged between 25 and 30, of average build, and speaking quietly but without an obvious accent. He was wearing a number of layers, including hoodies and jackets which were baggy, and dark trousers.

The vehicle was described as a newer style silver 4x4.
