Police are appealing for information following reports of an incident of public indecency in Cheltenham last week.
The incident, which took place on the bend of the footpath which runs parallel to the YMCA Sports Centre near College Drive, happened on Monday 13 July between 10am and 10.15am.
A mother and her child were walking along the footpath when a man cycled towards them, got off his bike and proceeded to masturbate in front of them.
The offender is described as a white male, about 5ft 11in, skinny build, with medium length fair hair which appeared unkempt. He appeared to be in his late 20s or early 30s.
He was wearing a dark grey or black, long-sleeved jogging top and similar type bottoms. He was riding a mountain bike which was black with grey.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at this time that may have any information or to see any CCTV footage.
Anyone with any information or who knows who this male may be is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 157 of 13 July.
