A man has been arrested in connection with suspicious incidents in the Forest of Dean in March.
The man, in his 30s and from Birmingham, remains in police custody at this time in connection with the incidents and the theft of scrap metal.
It comes after officers reassured local communities yesterday that a thorough investigation was taking place into several reports from the Yorkley and Berry Hill areas in which women and children had been approached by a man.
Reassurance patrols in those areas are continuing while the investigation continues.
