Police are appealing for witnesses to a non-stop collision in which a 12-year-old cyclist was injured.
The incident happened on Cotteswold Road, Gloucester, as the girl was heading to school at around 7.50am on Tuesday (6 July).
A blue colour medium panelled van struck the girl as she crossed the road, causing her to bang her head on her handlebars. The van paused after hitting her before driving off towards Painswick Road.
The 12-year-old suffered bruising and grazes but is not believed to be seriously injured.
The driver of the van is described as a white man, aged in his mid-30s, of medium build and with ginger hair.
This incident happened in a busy area during the morning rush hour and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
