Four people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after police received a report of a man being held at knife point while his home was burgled.
At 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday 26 July), Gloucestershire Constabulary received a report that a burglary had taken place just minutes before at an address off of Princess Elizabeth Way, near Hesters Way, Cheltenham.
It’s believed four offenders, who were reported to have been in possession of large kitchen knives, forced entry to the address and stole cash, tobacco and a TV while the victim was held at knife point before fleeing on bicycles.
No one was injured.
Officers from the Force Response Unit along with police dog handlers subsequently attended an address linked to one of the suspects, where they arrested two men and two boys and recovered the stolen goods.
Two men, aged 27 and 41, and a 14-year-old boy, all from Cheltenham, and a 15-year-old boy from Berkeley all remain in custody at this time.
