Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a 71-year-old man in a Cheltenham park earlier this week.
The victim was walking his dogs in Caenarvon Park on Tuesday (8 December) at around 11.30am when he was involved in a disagreement with an unknown man.
The unknown man has shouted at the victim before punching him in the face, causing him to fall to the floor, cutting his lip and knocking out a tooth. The man has then walked off quickly.
Officers would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the assault. The suspect is described as being around 50 to 60 years old, with dark hair and stubble. He was dressed in black, smart work clothes, with a brown leather satchel around one shoulder.
