Police are appealing for information after reports that a man stopped a teenage girl on her way to college in a suspicious incident in Coney Hill, Gloucester this morning.
At around 7.30am today (Friday 25 September), the girl was approached outside the shops on Coney Hill Road by a man in a car who asked her questions and then asked her to get in the vehicle.
The man is described as older, clean shaven and with a thick accent, driving a grey car.
The local school is aware of the incident and local officers will be patrolling the area at the beginning and end of the school day.
Anyone who saw the man or witnessed the incident should call 101, quoting incident 113 of 25 September.
