Gloucestershire Constabulary would like to speak to a man whose dog bit a runner on Bibury Road, Cheltenham.
The incident happened at approximately 9am on Sunday 27 December near Benhall woods and park. A man was running past another man believed to be in his 70s when his dog lunged and bit the runner causing two puncture wounds.
The dog is described as a dark grey greyhound.
Officers have investigated the incident and are now appealing for the public's help to identify the dog’s owner.
