Police are appealing for the victim of an assault in Cheltenham earlier this month to come forward.
Officers received a report of an altercation in an alley off Coronation Square at about 5.40pm on Saturday 14 January.
The incident started when two males standing outside of Betfred were approached by two other males.
One of the males was then pulled into the alley and assaulted.
The victim had entered a takeaway shortly before the attack and officers are now appealing for him to come forward.
The attacker was described as being white, slim build, with a short buzz cut hairstyle. He was wearing dark blue jogging bottoms with white marks down the side, a black puffer-style jacket and dark trainers.
Another male was described as white, slim build, and wearing a balaclava. He was also wearing dark blue jogging bottoms with a white logo on the hip pocket, and black trainers.
A 16-year-old boy from Cheltenham was later arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anything suspicious in the area at around that time.
