Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in a property in Cheltenham on Tuesday (24 August).
The incident happened in an empty building in the Courtyard on Montpellier Street at around 12.45pm.
During the course of the assault, the man has been hit on the head with a plank of wood.
While the building is currently empty, there are a number of other businesses in the area which were open and officers would like to speak to anyone in the area at the time who may have seen anything.
A man from Cheltenham has been arrested and released on bail.
