Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was shot with an air rifle in an unprovoked attack in Stonehouse last week.
The incident happened on Gloucester Road between 5.50pm and 6.10pm on Thursday 14 September.
The woman, who is in her 70s, was outside a property with her husband when she was shot with an air rifle to the back of her head.
She was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where an air pellet was removed. She is now recovering at home.
Officers would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam footage which they believe to be relevant, but who has not already spoken to officers.

A 22-year-old man from Stonehouse has been arrested on suspicion of attempted GBH with intent. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
