Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a cyclist and a car in Cheltenham on Tuesday afternoon (5 September).
The incident happened outside Simpsons Fish and Chip Bar on Priors Road at around 2.45pm.
It was reported that a vehicle was turning into Whaddon Road when it was involved in a collision with a female cyclist.
The driver stopped to check the woman was ok before driving on. However, the woman later went to hospital where she was treated for internal bruising.
Officers would now like to trace the driver of the vehicle to speak to him about what happened.
No details of the car have been provided, but the driver is described as being a white man, in his mid-40s and of a slim build. He was balding and had a moustache.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has relevant dashcam footage is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website, quoting incident 107 of 6 September: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-matter-involving-driving-vehicles-or-a-road-traffic-incident/
