Police are appealing for a man who helped the victim of a sexual assault in Stroud yesterday (Thursday 28 April) to come forward.
The incident happened as the victim was walking across fields off Ruscombe Road shortly after 10.30am when a man approached her from behind and attempted to grab her breasts.
She was able to push the man away and seek safety with a member of the public who was nearby and stopped to assist the victim.
Officers believe he may have information about the incident and are now asking for him to come forward.
