Police are appealing for a man who they believe may have been assaulted to come forward.
Officers viewing CCTV footage of Wellington Street, Gloucester, at around 3.20am on Sunday 26 February witnessed a woman get into a waiting taxi.
However, there appeared to be an altercation inside the taxi, before the woman and a man got out of the vehicle.
Police have spoken to the woman but would now like to identify the man to check on his welfare and help get a clearer picture of what happened that night.
The man was wearing a two toned beanie hat, dark grey hooded top, black trousers and dark shoes with white soles. He walked in the direction of Midland Road.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary through the website, quoting incident number 62 of 26 February: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/
