Police are appealing for victims and witnesses to come forward after at least three people suffered injuries in a series of assaults in Gloucester city centre last weekend.
A woman was knocked unconscious, a man was left with a possible broken jaw and a third victim suffered broken ribs in the incidents, which all happened at around 2.30am on Saturday 31 July.
Two people have been arrested and released under investigation. Another man, who is alleged to have spat at a police officer, was also arrested on suspicion of assault.
Inspector Ash Shingler, of Gloucester Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "It is sad that a few people are intent on ruining others' enjoyment of a night out.
"As our night time economy reopens, we will not tolerate this type of behaviour in Gloucester."
Officers would now like to speak to anybody else who may have been assaulted and suffered injuries during the disturbance, but who has not yet reported it. They would also like any witnesses that have not spoken to police to come forward.
