A man suffered a serious assault in Gloucester in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 17 May, and investigating officers are appealing for information.
Police were called to Tuffley Lane in Tuffley around 1am with reports that a man had sustained serious knife-related injuries.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics and remains there in a stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time and investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any dashcam or CCTV footage which could assist the ongoing investigation.
Road closures and cordons were put in place while emergency services were at the scene and these have since been lifted.
