Appeal after burglars steal items from house in Ashleworth

Officers are appealing for information after items were stolen from a property in Ashleworth earlier this month.

The incident happened between 9am and 11am on Friday 2 June.

Thieves broke into the address and stole a number of items including:

• A late 19^th century silver plated tea kettle and stand;
• A pair of plated circular coasters with pierced borders and turned wood bases;
• Silver plated circular salver with pie crust border. Engraved on the back are the words “To Phyllis from her father on the occasion of her wedding”;
• An oval embossed silver tea caddy with hinged cover;
• A two-handled Quaich;
• A silver cigarette box, inscribed V de L on the lid.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious at the time, or who has any CCTV or dashcam footage which may be relevant, to come forward.
