Officers are appealing for information in connection with a report of an assault in Gloucester.
Police were called to a report that three females were assaulting a fourth woman close to Aldi on Clifton Road.
The three females had been driving when they stopped the vehicle and attacked the 19-year-old victim as she was walking along the road.
They repeatedly punched her in the head, leaving her with a black eye, bloodied nose and bruising. She was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Investigating officers are now appealing for anybody with information about the assault to come forward.
They are particularly keen to speak to anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage who has not already spoken to police.
The incident happened at around 12.15pm on Monday 13 April.
A 55-year-old woman and 16-year-old girl from Churchdown, along with a 20-year-old woman from Gloucester, were arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident. They have all been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
