Police are appealing for information following several reports of racial abuse related anti-social behaviour incidents in the Priors Park area of Tewkesbury.
Over recent weeks, we have received reports that a group of teenagers have been involved in anti-social behaviour, stone throwing and criminal damage.
In one incident it was reported that five teenage boys had been throwing stones at the window of a property on York Road on Wednesday. When the homeowner came out to challenge them, they became racially abusive before throwing stones at him.
It has also been reported that damage was caused at the local allotments with teens acting towards members of the public in an anti-social manner.
These incidents involved a group of boys aged in their mid-teens who are believed to reside locally and officers are conducting enquiries to identify those responsible and take appropriate action to deal with these crimes.
Additional patrols have been taking place in the area following the reports and anyone with concerns is encouraged to speak to officers.
The Tewkesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team is now asking for information from the public which may help with the investigation.
In particular officers would like to speak to anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage from the area which they believe to be relevant.
Anybody with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police through the website, quoting occurrence 53260045371: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/
