Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious injury collision in Whitminster yesterday evening (Saturday 24 January).
Police were called to the A38 Bristol Road at around 6.45pm with a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a yellow Hyundai.
Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a man aged in his 60s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries. He remains there today (Sunday).
Road closures which had been put in place were removed last night.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage and has not yet spoken to police, is asked to make contact with officers.
