Officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a non-stop serious injury collision in Cheltenham at around 11pm yesterday (Saturday 24 January).
Police were called by the ambulance service with a report of a collision between a vehicle, which is believed to be white, and a man on an e-scooter.
This happened on St Paul's Road near the junction for Folly Lane and emergency services attended.
The rider of the e-scooter sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital by paramedics.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene and police are asking for the motorist to come forward.
It is believed the vehicle, which is thought to be white, would have sustained front-end damage.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who has seen a white vehicle like this after 11pm on Saturday.
Officers are also appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage, and they are asking for anyone with information and who has not already spoken to police to make contact with them.
Road closures are in place while a collision investigation continues at the scene.
