A man has been arrested in connection with the death of a motorcyclist last night (Wednesday) and police are appealing for witnesses as part of their investigation.
Emergency services were called shortly after 7.30pm yesterday (Wednesday) with a report of a collision at the Trafalgar Crossroads near the B4077 in Temple Guiting.
The collision involved a grey Honda CB650R motorcycle and a white Volkswagen transporter panel van.
Emergency services attended and despite the best efforts of those at the scene, the rider of the motorcycle, a man aged in his 20s, was pronounced dead.
His family has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The driver of the van, a man aged in his 20s and from Worcestershire, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving in connection with the collision.
He remains in police custody and is due to be questioned by officers.
Several roads were closed to allow a collision investigation to take place and have since reopened.
Investigating officers are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, saw either of the vehicles driving in the area or has any relevant dashcam footage to get in contact.
