Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after two men racially abused a woman during a suspected road rage incident in Badgeworth this morning (Wednesday 17 September).
The woman, who had been driving a black Vauxhall Corsa along Badgeworth Road, reported that the driver of a white Citroen panel van pulled out in front of her at the junction of Brookfield Road.
The male driver then deliberately braked; forcing the woman to swerve around the van to avoid a collision.
The driver of the van then followed the woman's car in close proximity before overtaking and stopping in front of her.
The driver and a male passenger then exited the van and walked towards the woman’s car. They both shouted racial abuse at the woman which left her extremely distressed.
The woman was able to drive away and call police from a nearby car park to report the incident.
The incident happened between 8am and 8.25am and investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area around that time and may have witnessed what happened.
Anyone with relevant dashcam footage is also asked to get in touch.
