Police are appealing for witnesses to an altercation which took place near Gloucester Park at the weekend and left a man with facial injuries.
It was reported that an altercation had taken place between two men at Gloucester skate park on Park End Road at around 2pm on Sunday (21 September).
One of the men punched another man in the face causing facial injuries.
The victim was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment to a broken nose and jaw which required surgery.
The suspect walked towards Weston Road following the assault. He was described as being a white man and was wearing a grey Adidas tracksuit and hat.
A 34-year-old man from Gloucester has since been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident. He was later released on police bail.
Enquiries are continuing and investigating officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to make contact.
