Police have closed several roads near Witcombe following a serious collision this afternoon (Thursday 16 October).
Emergency services were called at around 2.30pm with a report of a single vehicle collision on the A417 Birdlip Hill in Witcombe, Gloucester.
Road closures are in place from the bottom of Old Birdlip Hill at the A435 Cirencester Road in Little Witcombe and Ermin Way in Brockworth while emergency services remain at the scene.
These are expected to remain in place for a number of hours with motorists asked to plan their route in advance and avoid the area.
