A man has died following a fatal collision in Cirencester yesterday evening (Friday 17 October).
Emergency services were called to the A429 Bristol Road, near the Waitrose store, at around 9.45pm following a report of a collision involving the driver of a lorry and a man.
The man, aged 19, sadly died at the scene. His next of kin are aware and being supported by specially trained officers.
The closures on Bristol Road have now been lifted and officers would like to thank the public for their patience while they were in place.
Investigating officers are appealing for anyone who was travelling along the A429 between Cirencester Fire Station and Cirencester Hospital roundabouts at approximately 9.30pm last night, and who may have seen a pedestrian in or near the carriageway, to get in touch.
