A 39-year-old man has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder in connection with an incident in Gloucester earlier this week.
Kane Kotwica of Longford is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court for a first appearance today (Friday 30 May).
The charges relate to an incident that took place on Wednesday 28 May. Police were called to an address on Bedford Street in Gloucester at around 7.40am following reports a number of people had been stabbed at a property.
Three men were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
One of the men, Matthew Cainey aged 53 and from Gloucester, died from his injuries later that day and a murder investigation was launched by the Major Crime Investigation Team.
His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
