Police are appealing for information to identify a scooter rider who failed to stop for Roads Policing officers.
Officers were on patrol in Bourton-on-the-Water when they spotted a silver Yamaha 125 scooter which had previously been ridden in an anti-social manner.
The scooter was seen on Rissington Road at around 2pm on Friday 2 May and attempts, including the use of a stinger, were made to get the rider of the scooter to pull over.
The rider did not comply, despite having a flat front tyre, and it was not safe enough for a pursuit to take place as the rider had gone into oncoming traffic and through a red light on the A424.
Enquiries have established that the scooter is not taxed or insured and has regularly been in Bourton-on-the-Water and Rissington over the last week.
At this time the current keeper of the scooter is not known and officers now want to identify and speak to the rider.
Anyone who recognises the person pictured or has information about the scooter is asked to complete the following online form quoting incident 161 of 2 May: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
