Police are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Cheltenham last Monday evening (24 February).
Officers received a report of a break-in at a property in the Warden Hill area at around 8.40pm after the occupants returned home to find that unknown offenders had smashed a glass panel in a rear door to gain entry.
Once inside, the thieves took gold jewellery worth around £40,000.
Officers have conducted house-to-house and CCTV enquiries in the area and a forensic investigation of the scene has been carried out.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are keen to hear from anyone who has may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area between 7pm and 8pm or may have information about who was involved in the burglary.
Anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage which they believe to be relevant is also asked to make contact with police.
