Police are appealing for witnesses after a man assaulted a woman in Gloucester last Sunday (2 March).
It was reported that a man approached a woman who was stood outside Costa Coffee on Southgate Street and banged her head against the window before making threats of violence towards her.
The victim was not seriously injured but was shaken by the incident, which took place at around 11.20am.
The suspect, who is known to the victim, is described as being white, around 6ft 3ins tall and was wearing a grey tracksuit. He was carrying an Adidas drawstring bag on his shoulder and was with a woman who was wearing dark clothing.
It is believed a number of people were in the area at the time of the incident and officers are now asking for anyone who may have witnessed what happened to make contact with them.
