The family of Matthew Cainey, who died following a fatal stabbing in Gloucester on Wednesday 28 May have released a photo of him.
The 53-year-old, who was from Gloucester, was one of three men who sustained injuries at an address on Bedford Street where it was reported that multiple people had been stabbed at around 7.40am that morning.
Despite the best efforts of medical teams, Matthew died from his injuries later that day.
His family are asking for privacy at this sad time.
The other two victims have since been discharged from hospital.
Kane Kotwica, aged 39 and of Longford, has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder in connection with this incident.
Following an appearance in court on Monday 2 June, Kotwica has been remanded in custody. He will next appear in court on 15 August for a plea and trial preparation hearing before his trial, which is due to begin on 17 November.
