Death of police officer whilst on duty

Deputy Chief Constable Katy Barrow-Grint said: "Gloucestershire Constabulary is saddened to report the death of PC Ian Minett whilst on duty this morning (Saturday 21 June).
"PC Minett’s death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious and the Coroner has been informed.
"We extend our thoughts and prayers to PC Minett’s family, friends, and colleagues, and we ask that his family are given privacy at this difficult time."
