Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a two-vehicle collision in Stroud.
Officers were on patrol on London Road on the evening of Wednesday 30 April when they came across an overturned car near to the BP petrol station.
It was established that two cars, a white Ford EcoSport and a grey Skoda Superb, had been involved in a collision at around 11.55pm.
The occupants of the cars were assessed by paramedics and the driver of the Ford was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
A 41-year-old man from Bristol was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol in connection with the incident. He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Despite the arrest, investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage which they feel is relevant to make contact.
