Witness appeal to indecent exposure incident in Cheltenham

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed his genitals to a woman and child in Cheltenham last month.

The incident happened on the High Street outside Lush Cosmetics at around 4pm on Thursday 12 December.

It was reported that the man was walking past the woman, who was with a child, and took his penis out of his trousers.

A different member of the public witnessed what happened and called police. 

Officers attended and a 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of an act of outraging public decency. He was later released on police bail pending further enquiries.

The investigation is ongoing and police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what took place or who has any information which could assist. They are particularly keen to hear from the woman who was with a child at the time.
