Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a robbery at a shop in Tuffley, Gloucester this morning (Thursday 16 January).

They assaulted a member of staff in the process by hitting them in the face. The victim was checked over at the scene by paramedics and did not require hospital treatment.
The pair put the stolen items into large containers and they then fled in what is believed to be a silver or grey Audi A3 at around 7.20am.
They had parked up at the shop in the same vehicle at around 7.10am.
Officers are in the early stages of an investigation with house to house and CCTV enquiries taking place. Images of two men police want to speak to in connection with the incident have been released.
Anyone who was driving in the area between around 7am and 7.30am today and has dashcam footage of the vehicle is asked to make contact with police.
