A man has died in hospital following a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Barton Street, Gloucester last week.
Kieran Jones, aged 35 and from the city, was struck by a Skoda close to the junction with St James Street shortly after 11pm last Tuesday (14 January).
Emergency services were called and he was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol in a serious condition but died on Friday (17 January).
His family are being supported by specialist officers and the coroner has been informed.
Barton Street was closed for a number of hours while collision investigators conducted an examination of the scene and a number of witnesses have been spoken to by officers.
No arrests have been made and enquiries into the collision are on-going.
