Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an alleged assault that took place in Cheltenham last month.
Witnesses report seeing a man assault another man by headbutting him and punching him in the face between 11pm and 11.20pm at the Moon Under The Water pub on Bath Road.
Following the attack on Monday 23 December, the victim lost consciousness. The man who had assaulted him then put him in the recovery position before leaving the scene.
The victim regained consciousness and was found to have sustained bruising to his face and a chipped tooth. He was subsequently taken to hospital to have his injuries assessed.
Officers have conducted a number of enquiries since the incident but are yet to identify the man pictured. They are now asking for information from the public.
Anyone who recognises him or who has any information about what happened, is asked to complete the following online form quoting incident 476 of 23 December: www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
