Officers are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers assaulted another teenager in Gloucester.
It was reported that the victim was walking along Finlay Road at around 3.50pm yesterday (Monday 20 January) when he had an exchange of words with two other teenagers.
The teenagers then punched the victim in the face causing a wound which required stitches at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
The suspects, who were wearing dark tracksuits and aged between 17 and 18, rode away on bicycles after the assault and their identities remain unknown.
Investigating officers have conducted CCTV enquiries in the area and are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or has dashcam or mobile phone footage which they feel is relevant.
