Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was stolen from an address in Drybrook, Forest of Dean on Wednesday evening (19 February).
The victim returned to their address shortly before 9pm to find that unknown offenders had smashed a glass panel in a rear door to gain entry to the property.
Once inside, thieves searched the home and took a set of car keys for a white Audi RS3 with the registration LJ53 NKS.
A safe which contained cash was also taken from the address on Hazel Road.
It is understood that the Audi was later seen travelling at speed on Valley Road in Cinderford at around 8.30pm the following day (Thursday).
Officers and a forensic investigator went to the scene to carry out enquiries and an investigation is ongoing.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who has seen the vehicle or has information on who was involved in the burglary.
