Officers are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Gloucester earlier this week.
Police were called to Park Road in the city at around 9am on Tuesday 4 February with a report that a woman had assaulted another woman.
It was reported that the victim had been walking past the offender, who was sitting on the floor, when she jumped up, smacked her in the face and pulled her hair.
The victim was uninjured but shaken by what happened.
The suspect was described as being tall, of a slim build, had red hair and was wearing a long red puffer jacket with dark coloured trousers and trainers.
Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed what happened or has CCTV/dashcam/mobile phone footage which they feel is relevant.
