Road closure following serious collision near Cirencester

Police have closed several roads near Cirencester following a serious collision this morning (Monday 18 August).

Emergency services were called at 6.05am with a report of a single vehicle collision on the A417 London Road in Ampney Crucis.

Road closures are in place on Witpit Lane, at The Crown at Ampney and Cherry Tree crossroads while emergency services remain at the scene.

These are expected to remain in place for a number of hours with motorists asked to plan their route in advance and avoid the area.
