A man has died following a two-vehicle collision on Bisley Road in Stroud last night (Wednesday 23 April).
Police were called by the ambulance service shortly before 10.30pm with a report of a collision involving a man riding a Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Peugeot 207, which was being driven by a man.
Members of the public were helping at the scene and emergency services attended.
Despite the best efforts of those in attendance, the motorcyclist, a man aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
The road was closed to allow for a collision investigation to take place and it has since reopened.
