Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in the toilets of a Cheltenham nightclub.
It was reported that several men followed the victim into the toilets of Home and Botanic at around 2.45am yesterday (Sunday 6 April) before kicking him in the head.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment to a facial injury.
Two men from Cheltenham, aged 35 and 36, were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident. They have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Despite the arrests, investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or has information which they feel may be relevant.
