Officers are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which took place in Cheltenham last night (Monday 16 September).
Police were called at around 7.55pm with a report of a single vehicle collision involving a motorbike which had taken place on Portland Street by the junction of Trinity Road.
The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 50s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol where he remains in a critical condition at this time.
A number of roads closures were put into place while emergency services remained at the scene and have since been lifted.
Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not yet spoken to police or who has dashcam footage is asked to make contact.
