Police are appealing for information following a fight on Barton Street in Gloucester.
Officers were called to a report that an altercation had broken out when a group of men were challenged by another male.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Sunday 25 August.
The group of three men had armed themselves with weapons, while one person involved was reported to be holding a blade.
The larger group dispersed before police arrived and enquiries are ongoing to identify them.
They were described as being in their late teens or early 20s and were of Asian heritage.
One of the men was dressed in green trousers and hooded top; another was wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt with a white and red logo on the back; and the third was in dark trousers and a dark quilted jacket.
A 40-year-old man from Gloucester was arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and affray. He has been released on police bail.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has ring doorbell or dash cam footage which they believe to be relevant.
