Officers are appealing for information after a group of men in a car shouted sexually abusive comments at a woman and tried to grab her arm on Leckhampton Hill, Cheltenham on Sunday (1 September).
It was reported that at around 5pm a black Audi, which contained four men, was slowly driven up behind a woman while she was walking on Hartley Lane.
They then began to shout sexually abusive comments towards her.
One of the men leant out of the car and made an attempt to grab the woman's arm, which she managed to avoid.
They then followed her in their car to the car park on top of the hill where she was able to enter her own vehicle and drive away.
The woman was scared and shaken up by what happened.
Investigating officers are asking for information from the public to help identify the men and vehicle involved.
The four men are described as being white, in their mid to late 20s and were wearing hoodies.
The vehicle was a black four-door Audi with tinted rear windows and a lowered suspension.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the description of the men or the vehicle is asked to complete the following online form quoting incident 428 of 1 September: www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/
