Police have arrested a man on suspicion of drug supply after stopping a car in Gloucester in the early hours of this morning.
The car was spotted by officers and concerns were raised when a background check was carried out on it.
They stopped the vehicle in Stroud Road and searched the man and the car.
Five wraps of white powder, believed to be a Class A drug, was discovered along with three phones and cash.
The man, a 35-year-old from Birmingham, was arrested on suspicion of supply of a Class A drug. He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.
