A man was arrested after several suspected stolen bicycles and mopeds/motorbikes were discovered during a warrant in Cheltenham last Wednesday (2 October).
Officers from the Cheltenham Neighbourhood Policing and Vanguard teams executed a warrant at an address in the St Paul's area after intelligence had been gathered about suspected stolen items being stored at the property.
During searches of the address, a large amount of bicycles and mopeds were found within the property and garden.
A 19-year-old man from Cheltenham was subsequently arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, theft of a bicycle and handling stolen goods. He has since been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
An investigation is continuing following a spate of moped, bicycle and motorbike thefts in the town and officers are asking anyone with information they feel may be relevant to get in contact.
Officers are now working to identify the rightful owners of the bicycles and mopeds/motorbikes seized during the warrant.
